We understand buying a new ring can be stressful, especially when you’re not able to try it on in person to be sure it fits. To reduce this stress, we have a couple easy solutions for you.
Timio's Free Printable Ring Sizer
First, you’re welcome to download and print Timio’s Ring Sizer PDF. This will allow you to measure around your finger with the cutout ruler. To make sure the measurement is correct you’ll need to verify that the printout is the correct size by lining up your ID card on the indicated section. If the ID section matches your ID’s size, you’re good to go. Next remember that you don’t want to measure tight across your finger. The final ring needs to be able to slip over your knuckle but still fit snug at the base of your finger.
Reusable Ring Sizer Bundle
Second, for those wanting maximum assurance that they’re ordering the right size, you can order an adjustable plastic ring sizer and gift card combo from us. You can order this for yourself or a loved one, confirm the size, and apply that amount to your final purchase. Even if you choose to hold off on buying a ring, you can apply the gift certificate toward your next purchase regardless of which products it includes.
Paper & Ruler Method
Finally, a classic option is to use a ruler and a stretch-free material. If you don’t have a printer at the ready, you can still use a strip of paper to measure around your finger. Mark where the paper overlaps the edge you started with, lay it flat next to the ruler, and compare the measurement with our size chart. It’s still important to test putting the “ring” on and taking it off, even as a paper prototype. This ensures you can still fit the final ring over your knuckle as you put it on.
Between Two Standard Sizes?
We also get asked about what to do if your size is unusually specific. For example, size 6.25, where a 6 is too snug but a 6.5 could potentially slide off your finger if you shake your hand. You’re always welcome to place a custom inquiry with us. We work on crafting custom orders while making inventory of our continuously carried, standard products. Don’t be shy about sending in a custom request. Not everyone fits the standard carried ring sizes, and you shouldn’t settle for a “just okay” or “barely passing” fit when adding a new piece to your collection. Reach out to us, we’re happy to provide a perfect fit experience.
